“If you look the right way, you can see the whole world in the garden “ The Spring / Summer 2025 collection takes us to “The Secret Garden” where the designers Hila and Kristian Aadnevik find inspiration in the fascinating story of growing beauty and the rebirth of both nature and the protagonist. The garden died as her aunt fell to her death into a bed of wild roses, and Mary has been unloved and denied her existence. The flowering resurrection of the garden runs parallel with Mary’s magical revelations. “The orphan Mary is the natural muse of the collection as we follow her discovering a forgotten garden hiding behind walls covered in ivy. The wild garden becomes a heavenly place of enchantment and healing with the glorious effect of the blossoming spring. We want to capture this divine moment with ethereal romantic creations reflecting the awakening of the garden. “ Airy layers of tulle are embellished with hand crafted delicate flowers made from pastel feathers, while intricate French lace represents the overgrown wild garden. Thousands of crystals reminiscence heaven looking down on Mary whereas floaty silk chiffon blows in the warm spring wind. Every creation is bound in signature hand braided fine leather. Pale shades of powder pink, dusky blue and sunray yellow mirror the romantic changes in Mary’s life, while black and white symbolises the dark past against the new found rapturous hereafter.
