This season’s spring / summer 2014 inspiration derives from the ornate, majestic architecture of Morocco and the mysterious landscapes of the surrounding desert. AADNEVIK evokes the diversity of this rich landscape and culture by fusing together detailed exotic, alluring shades and lavish embellishments, with the more ruinous earthen tones. The billowing lengths of chiffon and jersey have been conceived to embody the undulations of the swirling sand dunes. This is drastically contrasted with textural layering, created to replicate the dryer, more cracked barren grounds of this striking scenery. This collection steals your sense of time and place by combining the traditional and the contemporary, alike to the mythic lands of Morocco.
